The Bears don't suck, they're just really cheap.

Out of 34 teams, only two get to go to the Super Bowl. If the Bears really did suck, they would not have been in the championship game at all. They won fifteen out of nineteen games this past season. Even though they played one game more than the Bears, the Colts lost four games this years as well. The Bears finished the regular season with a better record as well.
I will never accept any team as the "best ever." The Colts were the best this year. Next year is a new story. No one knows yet who will be the best in 2007.

First, I am a Redskin fan. Todays Colts are not the best ever. They have alot of faults but won when they had to. I agree you do not have a best ever just great achievements. Even with that said, I feel some of the best the are the ones who did not win the Superbowl especially the 70's Vikings, the 80's Broncos, and the 90's Bills. These teams would probably rank in the top 5 of most balanced teams but could not win when it counted.

first they gotta win 2 more super bowls...no way will they accomplish that. they beat the Bears, Bears are nothing. Had they faced the Saints, colts would have choked. trust me dude

Ahh. No the Colts suck balls. WOW, they won a super bowl that is great. NO. The patriots are much much better with more talent, a better coach, a better playoff record, AND especilly TOM BRADY!!

best team ever? maybe best team this year but not ever. the best team ever belongs to the 49ers. 5-0 in superbowls including a 55-10 whooping of a really good denver team. jerry rice, joe montana, ronnie lott etc...
