why dose'nt he take those who are on welfare, and disability too. and put them into training to fill those posistions that need to fill. Then he will have saved us worker's alot of money. Then ammagine how much money he will save the country, and how much he will have to fix and build as well take care us true Canadians.

Secondly, Mike Harris has been out of office for quite some time now. If you have a problem with how Ontario's run, talk to Premier Dalton McGuinty.
Thirdly, immigrants are taking jobs that the locals don't want... the hard, dirty, mind-numbing jobs that the welfare-bound feel are beneath them. If they wanted the jobs, they could get them.

I am not to sure who you are referring to as Harris the only Harris would have been the premier of Ontario going back about 8 years, Mike Harris. As for the unemployment rate in Canada, people are not overly willing to relocated to where the jobs are and forced relocation infringes upon freedoms. Canadians do not sustain their own population, thus immigration is vital to growth and diversity of industry. Canada has a great deficit in skilled workers such as trades people, and medical specialist. Immigration is vital to filling in those gaps as we cannot produce enough skilled individuals to meet the demand.
