™ means Registered Trademark
"A trademark or trade mark is a distinctive sign of some kind which is used by an individual, business organization or other legal entity to uniquely identify the source of its products and/or services to consumers, and to distinguish its products or services from those of other entities. A trademark is a type of industrial property, and typically comprises a name, word, phrase, logo, symbol, design, image, or a combination of these elements. There is also a range of non-conventional trademarks comprising marks which do not fall into these standard categories."

The TM stands for registered Trade Mark. You can also get a TM2 which means it was registered with changes. There are several way to get these to show. Usually when you download something that has a registered patent, and you need a license to use or copy it. You can also get a TM for a registered Internet site, file name, Internet ID, website, and name.

Basically, hold down the ALT key, type 0153 on the
numeric keypad, then let go.
Check out the Character Map program, Accessories -
System Tools menu - it will give you all the available
ALT key combinations for the various fonts.
