hmm let's see I am a Republican and I don't think I've ever thumped my Bible on anyone or anything -- Although I do read it and believe it it is the Word of God.
Also contrary to what you may think--I don't go around preaching and quoting the Bible to everyone. I just live a decent and good life and treat people with respect--whether they are Republican, Democrat , or whatever. I do not judge people by their beliefs or politics.

No. While the biggest single block in the Republican party are thereligious conservatives, they are far from being "Bible thumping zeolots" & there are many Republicans who are not that religious. It would be like asking if all Democrats are anti religious heathens

Nah, Republicans use only certain aspects of Religion to get the Christian votes.

The truth though is that it wasn't always like that. There were some traces dating back to Nixon's "Southern Strategy" but it really got started during the 80s with Pat Robinson's "Moral Majority" campaign.

No, I am a republican and not a very religious person at all. I am a republican because I believe that a person should have the right to make there own decisions and spend their money the way that they wish. For example, I do not believe in using federal tax money on things such as abortions, stem-cell research, and the new cervical cancer vaccine that has been in the news as of late. I believe that low taxes on everyone helps spur the economy. The Bush tax cuts have helped our economy reach new heights!! So you see, with me, its about having more money in my pocket than anything spiritual.

I really don't feel like going into detail, but there happen to be quite a few atheist Republicans, though I am not one myself. No, to answer your misguided question. Being a Republican is belonging to a political party, which does NOT make it a religous party.

one in each and every of those subject is getting a splash previous and tiresome. it is gotten to the ingredient the place, if I hear somebody on a expert-abstinence or professional-kinfolk tirade, I in the present day start to ask your self who she or he's having an affair with. i assume the commandment against bearing fake witness skill much less to them than their public status or prevailing elections. it is one subject to come again out for or against some earth-sure political subject like cap and commerce whether it is something else to invoke God's regulations in case you have not any objective of following them. Then there is the tear-filled "i'm in basic terms a sinner" speech. provide me a ruin. If those human beings have so little self-discipline and so little glaring self-wisdom, then they should not be sitting on their intense horses telling something human beings what to do. they could take it sluggish to certainly examine and attempt to stay the Bible in the previous status in the previous us like exhalted examples of excellent Christian human beings. Their faith like their morals isn't something yet a lie. "Thou that sayest a guy shouldn't devote adultery, dost thou devote adultery?" Rom.2:22

No, Republican means one who ignores facts, logic and reason. He does these things because he cannot think for himself.

Religion also helps these fools. They use religion to fool people into beleiving they are moral.

Their party would be a total joke if they weren't able to fool so many people and cause so much pain and damage.
