Well I would say plan a spring or summer baby if that is really possible. Only cause the weather is most comfortable when you are huge and uncomfortable. I have been pregnant during the summer and IT WAS NOT FUN AT ALL.. but with the pregnancy I am having now.. it has been pretty good, since the weather is keeping me cool. It is just now starting to warm up some but I am due in 6 wks. So I am sure I can handle it. Good luck.

I love summer too, but then I would want my baby born in the fall. That way the baby would be old enough to be taken outdoors the next summer. You can't use sunscreen on babies less than 6 months old, so you have to keep them out of the sun.
Also, for the first 6 months or so, they are in the infant carrier, which makes it easier for the winter time (you can just throw blankets over the carrier).
Also, you can use winter clothes to cover up your post baby bulge and have all winter to get back in shape for summer.

My daughter was born in November and I think it's pretty good, I was nice and cool in pregnancy, and noone expects much of you at Christmas when you've got a five week old baby, so that's good too!! The weather is just starting to improve just as we're really starting to get out and about, you don't really get out too much in the frist three months anyway, and now we've got the whole summer to look forward to so she can explore!!!

I think a summer baby might be hard as you'd be worried about them being too hot all the time, also just when your baby is getting more alert and you'll be wanting to take them places, it'll be autumn heading to winter and your options will be limited!!

I thik you'll find a lot of November babies are a direct result of Valentine's Day!!

Good luck and have fun trying for your bundle, I wish you all the best, whatever season you end up with!

I planned both of my pregnancies so that my babies would be born over the summer. I figured it would be easier to get out of the house, and maybe easier to get help from family. Plus, my family does a reunion every year in August, and I wanted to be on maternity leave for that, instead of using up all of my time off with a new baby and then being unable to go to the reunion.

Spring

I like spring. Most women get really hot during pregnancy (especially at the end), so summer will be uncomfortable. I'm due in 4 weeks, so it's been cold during the 2nd and 3rd trimester for me, but hopefully it won't be frigid by the time I take my baby home.

I am a mother of 4, with the luck of having one in each season. I suggest avoiding summer, because you get get so hot when you are large. I found it hard to move in the 100 degree heat. I would also avoid winter because it is cold and flu season, and getting around on the ice in the last trimester was horrible.

My oldest daughter was born in October and I loved it because I was not to big when it was hot outside.I didn't have to worry about the ice and snow when I was going to work and worrying about slipping and falling. I currently 16 weeks pregnant and due in August and I worried about slipping and falling on the ice and snow and hurting myself ten times more than when I'm not pregnant. I'm also not looking forward to being pregnant the hottest time for the year. But I know in the end it will all be worth it!! Good Luck!!

Spring. Being pregnant in the summer is AWFUL

I would plan it so I would get pregnant in July/Aug and have the baby in April/May, that way I would not be pregnant during the hot weather in the summer.
