There are.
Completely ignoring the questions does not solve the problem however, posting questions that avoid the buzzwords does.
The more decent questions you get, the more attention they will get. You will still have some buzzword answers though.
To pose a question, steer clear of any of the flame language. There are serious issues to discuss behind all that rhetoric.
Make sure you watch your question. You get better answers if people see you are reading them all.
Be truthful about your position on the subject, but due that in additional details, if you do it too soon, you influence the debate.
Don't get in a shouting match with a buzz word answer. Ignore them. It is your question after all.
Be careful when picking a best answer. It should not always be the one that most agrees with you, it should be the one that made you think.
If you build up a reputation for that, you might be amazed at how the answers change for your question.

That's it ignore the questions that effect your life the most. hope and pray they go away.
people like you are the reason this country is in such a mess.
you want someone to blame, and then you forget all about the issues once they stop talking about them.
aren't you so lucky that we have just a system in place, where the media barely reports on important issues. and if it is reported some talking head will offer an opinion and the sheeple like you will take it as gospel.
I am so very grateful that your kind of patriotism is coming to an end.
So what is the war about? is it the crusades part II? News flash! the first crusades was a land grab just like this war. only this land grab has alot of oil under it.
and if you believe the official story on 911? you do believe in a conspiracy, you believe that 19 men conspired to hijack and fly comerical jets into buildings with military precession. never mind the fact that none of them had military training. no? lets just ignore that? Never mind the fact that no charges have been brought against bin laden! you see a few pictures and that solves everything for you eh?
if you really want progress then look at the evidence scholars. policemen, patriots, ex CIA,ex gitmo lawyers,ex FBI, congressmen and protesters are showing. and answer the
f ucking questions!
no? let's ignore it, I understand it's too scary for you. well keep praying it goes away then. it will go away when all your freedoms and liberties are gone. and you will ignore that too? and then pray for them all to come back right?
"Governments are fortunate that men don't think." Adolf Hitler
It's time to wake up and face the issues!
Good luck and God Bless you and your family.

Amen! I think that the political thinkers have run into such a bunch of grabage on Y!A that they have just given up!!
Personally, I would rather hear REAL conservatives answer questions that I ask, than to get a bunch of of the same rhetoric over and over. I am a liberal, and it is so much a part of who I am as a person, that I honestly don't see how others can justify their positions. I have asked questions about these things in the past because I really, really wanted to know the underlying thought patterns and justifications for certain "feelings" or beliefs among my opponents on the political field.. Once in a great while, I read a genuinely intelligent answer that DOES explain things, and then I really have to think about my position.
Usually, though, I just read, "You stink", "You're a baby killer", "You give aid to the terrorists", etc. etc. Of course, none of that is true (well, maybe the "you stink" part if I haven't taken a shower after work.....LOL), so it just polarizes me even more, and doesn't help me to form solid answers of my own. Believe it or not, SOME (very few) conservative answerers have caused me to really contemplate my own reasoning, and some have (almost) changed my mind on an issue or two.
So, yes, I agree! Ignore all the nonsense questions! I have been doing that lately, and I haven't been on Y!A much. It was fun at first, but it has gotten old very, very quickly.
If you don't really want an answer--a well-thought-out, intelligent answer--then don't bother to ask! And if you do ask anyway, I won't answer.

I be conscious that Skidoo's question has long previous. It wasn't a similar question. It became a various question, that shed a various gentle on Carl's one on a similar yet differing subject. each so often human beings repeat a question to get on our nerves and each so often that is only in exciting or area of an ongoing debate. that is no longer continually clean decrease and each occasion could be taken in context of the temper of the situation. edit. I take it you at the instant are not attracted to an uncomplicated opinion then? Sorry. Hmm. i do no longer understand who has who blocked and that i can work out your factor, yet like I say, that's the context of it too. that is maybe one symptom of blockading getting out of hand. i won't be able to be afflicted with it presently myself.

If you support bush, turning your head to logic and reason, that doesn't make you much of a "thinker".
Of course the 9-11 conspiracy theories are a bit whacked, but war for oil seems to make sense. At least it hasn't been ruled out. Bush hasn't told us a valid reason for attacking Iraq - again by valid I mean one that takes logic, reason, and the facts into account.
If people had valid discussions, Bush would never have obtained more then 10% of the popular vote.
Neither would Kerry. We'd actually have good leaders.

How about we just all save the best responses to these questions and paste them into the questions as they're repeated. Only the most...educational...responses should be used, with credit to the author who first posted the answer.
