I am pretty sure, if memory serves (it's been awhile since I played), you can add sections that control the speed. By entering a fixed speed you either brake the train or accelerate it.

As far a boosters not being realistic as coasterman pointed out, trust me they are real. King's Island's "Flight of Fear" Cincinnati, Ohio / Cedar Point's new "Maverick" and "Wicked Twister" are all booster driven. Even "Maverick's" lift hill is only boosters. No chains or cables! Cool, huh?

Have fun and good luck.

I've never been able to achieve that. But I think its possible by using the block brakes. But if your aiming at realism (like I do with my parks on it) an in ride boost isn't realistic.
