The only time I get peace and quiet is when my husband is at work, and the kids are at school. Or when I'm asleep. If I'm in the house alone, It don't matter where I go cos I've got it all to myself.

I lead a very busy life...so it's awkward at times to get peace and quiet...usually I have to take it when I can...just sitting in my car at stop lights and shutting everthing out for a minute...but when I can find the time....either on my beach or while I'm enjoying a relaxing bubble bath....Calgon take me away!!!

I normally stand at the top of the building I live in, its close to heaven, sometimes I think one more step forward for eternal peace one step back to Hell.
I might try the extra step.

Up to the power button on the TV. My house gets pretty quiet if you just turn off the tellie.

Barnes and Noble...I can stay there for hours at a time.
The bathroom...I can take a hot bath or just read peacefully in there.
My den..surfing the net in there is relaxing.
