Any guesses on Malfoy's outcome in the next HP book??

I've been so annoyed with this immature little punk until the last book when he shifted gears. Now with what has transpired, what do you think will happen with him.???

he was tempted by dumbledore's offer to come to the good side and to get his whole family in hiding. working for the dark lord doesn't seem to agree with him and i get the impression he started because it seemed so glamorous and his dad was one but now he's only sticking with it bc he has no choice (as sirius said, with voldemort it's either a lifetime of service or death). i think the whole family (draco, narcissa, and lucius) will turn good and go into hiding. lucius probably is not liking voldie too much now after going to jail and the fact that voldie tried to have his son killed practically and the same for narcissa, voldie has ruined her family and taken both her husband and son away so i think they will turn around.

I agree with you- Malfoy's character has definitely changed, perhaps too quickly for it to seem real (Rowling has to wrap it up towards the end I guess).
Because of his sudden change of character, I think Rowling meant for him to die in an evil plot of Voldemort's. Voldemort's using him, obviously. I don't think Malfoy likes working on the dark lord's side, it's less glamorous than he thought. But with his family and all (and the small fact that Voldemort could kill them at any given second) he's got no choice.

I believe he is one of the main characters who is going to die. preferably in a direct confrontation with harry...

I though Rowling said that he wasn't going to be "good." He'll probably die.
