It was called "Identity" and I think it was just a special, not going to be a regular series. The offered the contestant several "helps" then did not follow thru when he only had 2 people left and wanted to use his 50/50 help. After a commerical break, they came back and said he could not use that "help" if he only had 2 people left. I think it really screwed up the future of the show because they did not think anyone would get that far.

What's My Line was a CBS game show that was on for many years. It was on for 17 years, every Sunday night at 10:30pm, from Feb. 1950, until Sept. 1967, for a total of 876 episodes.(there were no repeats during the summer!). It was hosted by John Charles Daly, a respected newsman for CBS at the time. He was the one who announced to a radio audience the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

Even though people answered differently, I'd say "What's My Line?" with Bill Cullen, an oldie.
