I'm looking for a free web hosting that does not have banner ads, or any other kinda ads. I want to be able to use my existing domain name. Must have decent ftp.. not 1 file at a time. perferable unmetered bandwidth. ta for any help

Why would anyone offer free, unlimited hosting if they couldn't make any money from it?

There are piles of free PHP hosts out there, but they make money but restricting the kinds of things you can do with your site - and charging to enable them. They are also not very reliable... because they are free, they have no service contract with you. That means no guaranteed uptime and they can go out of business and take your site with them without any notice to you.

(either you compramise with subdomain or try www.dot.tk)
If you know how o create web pages using HTML or Frontpage
then try any web hosting website like

I thought about asking this same question. I use Geocities (yahoo) web hosting, but would love to find another service with high to no traffic limits and no adds, any ideas? (I pay $30 somthing every 3 months)

or down load serif10 make your own web site.
when you find a free web hosting give me the site i have not found one yet,without severe restrictions. if you only have a website name and blank pages you are ok

Yeah I agree with the above, if they can't make money from it why would they bother?
Anyways, how fast is your internet connection, perhaps you should just setup a server, and host your stuff yourself? You are already paying for internet connection, and if you want free web hosting, you'll have to host it yourself.

http://freeost.com/ is the best I can list because of its very fast registration process. You only need to fill in a very short form and there you go , 5 seconds and you host your website.
