Yeah. Me and my husband were out fishing in our "aluminum" rowboat. And the motor wasn't working very well. It kept starting and stopping. Our trolling motor's battery was dead. And a storm moved in. So, there we were in the middle of the lake and my husband was rowing like a madman. It was really coming down and we were soaked. Every time the lightning struck and the thunder crashed I felt like jumping out of my skin. But we laughed about it once we were safe. LOL

One time I was on the very top of the highest mountain in Vermont when HUGE amounts of static electricity started to buildup. For example my hair was straight up, not a little literally straight up and this glove I had was literally buzzing from all the static electricity. The top was just rocks with no shelter at all, we descended quickly and this probably could have been what saved our lives. The reason for all the static electricity was it seemed like lightning was about to strike and no there wasnt any lightning already. It was a really weird experience...

Yes. It was several years ago. We were in the middle of a drought. There were fire danger warnings. The crops were dying. Even the Fourth of July fireworks were cancelled.

I went on a date with a guy who had a Corvette. We went to a drive-in movie in a town about 20 miles away. He had taken out the T-tops from the "Vette" and left them at home.

I don't remember what the movie was. We never saw it. The storm seemed to come out of nowhere, and we had to make a flying trip home. Anyway, we take credit for ending the drought.

Yes, just once. I was walking to a bus stop. A nice lady opened her door and called out to me to come stand on her porch until the storm passed, so that's what I did. That's actually a good memory because of how nice the woman was.

(I ended up having shelter, after all, but at first I didn't).

If basically my canine ought to communicate! We accidently locked him outdoors the residing house throughout a thunderstorm via fact we thought he became interior and we've been in a hurry to flow to Blockbuster. So we got here returned and observed him all curled up in our bush, soaking moist, and he became shivering and whining. We felt so undesirable for him..

We did it, hubby and I....(no showers for a week) YUCK.....anyway.....we got caught in a bad T-storm and the tent was not set up yet. But we were off the lake and out of the canoe at least.
