Just about everyone went for polka dots or animal prints end 06 new 07... but they're on their way out...so what's new?

Looking in particular for a website that will give information on what trends are on their way in.

So, if you're a dedicated fashion follower, fashion student or even a designer!! would love to know your thoughts on what's about to his us in a big way. Give me hints on what designs on skirts/scarves to look out for?

Thanks! xx

1) Ballet flats, totally cool with a nice pair jeans that DON'T drag completely on the floor.
2) Layered sweater look, have polos under your traditional RL cable sweater, totally cool.
3) Aviator sunglasses, these are awesome, especially the ones from Juicy, Marc Jacobs, etc. They are a welcome to any outfit.
4) A nice tote bag, recently, more and more have been emerging from Kate Spade, Juicy, etc. The oversized tote is totally handy and very stylish.
5) Slim fit jeans that don't flair or are skinny jeans. Let's face it, skinny jeans are definitely going out because barely anyone really wears them. So recently, the slim fit in dark colors has been going around that doesn't really flair or stretch as much, thus allowing the wearer to show off a brand new pair of medium Manolos without being distracted by jeans. (:
6) Cute round-toed sneakers from Coach, Diesel, etc. These are so cute and finish off any outfit. Seriously, when I wore my Diesel sneakers, everyone just had to stop and compliment me on them. These sneakers really don't make your feet look huge and are a dainty versus those ugly bulky sneakers.
7) Bangles and other chunky jewelry. I am absoulutely in love with Chanel's pink and white bangles. Pair up a tight top with matching bangles and a chunky necklace, and you are ready to go. But beware, as Coco Chanel once said, before you go out, you have to take at least one accessory off. If you go with the necklace and necklace, no bracelets. And vice-versa.
8) For makeup, go with natural. You want to look under-done, never caked full of makeup. Even if it is your best Chanel kind, I'd suggest ditching the complete eyeshadow and blush, go with Dior Kiss lipgloss in stunning red, some Chanel concealer, and perhaps some mascara. Go for the underestimated glam look.
9) Definitely cute polos. They never go out and are totally classic. I would suggest going to like Lacoste where they're ultra cute. My fav color is of course olive green.

P.S. NEVER go with the black nail polish. It looks like you contracted some sort of disease and when it chips, it looks idiotic and utterly cheap. Instead, get your nails manicured in a clear gloss which people notice more anyway.

Print dresses are massive at the moment worn with tights, anything that looks like it's from the 1960's or 70's. High-waisted trousers and jeans. Skinny jeans, baggy boyfriend style jeans. long pendant necklaces, chunky bangles and big earrings. I always look at www.asos.com and www.glamourmagazine.co.uk and buy at least one magazine a week that has fashion pages. Another way you can suss out new trends is just take a walk through town window shopping and looking at what other people are wearing.

My advice, you sound like you know all the new trends. Try making your own website or blog on the latest trends! You can make websites or blogs at www.blogger.com for a blog. Or www.freewebs.com or www.wetpaint.com for websites. Of course you can use websites like Teen People and Seventeen for tips on the latest trends, just be sure to give credit to them in your references. Calling all Fashionistas, we've got a trend setter in the making! (That would be you)

That is a fab site...it shows all the new ideas on the catwalks as well as putting it in easy terms, like acid colours etc...

Ooooh and it also has a "handbag of the week" section which is cool - not always affordable, but hey!!

Good luck xx
