What is the big deal with Anna Nicole Smith? Ya, on her 4th week of being dead, they finally decide who gets to burry her. You know what I say to that? Who freaking cares! I mean, seriously, shes dead, I dont think she cares who burrys her. And also, Its sad that like, every man in the world claims to be the father of her baby, with her rep. tho, any one of them could be. So whats the big deal????????? Tell me your opinion.

The big deal is that our society is obsessed with dead celebrities, no matter how they acheived their status. Anna Nicole became famous by getting her face and body in front of every camera that would point in her direction. As long as we show interest, it will go on.....

It is a very sad story. However, this case may set a new precedence, because the Judge who handed it off to the Guardian Ad-lit um for the baby, was the incorrect decision by case law. That law was written for indigent and funeral directors to decide.
Virgie Arthur, Smith's mother has appealed the decision, and has a good chance of winning the case to bury her daughter back in Texas.
This case is all about Howard K. Stern using Ms. Smith for money and manipulating her to do what he wanted to possibly get a part of her money from ex husband, J. Howard Marshall.
Although Stern claimed he would only get 6% or 100 million dollars from that inheritance, he would have control over any money that Smith's baby, DannieLynn Hope would get.
Since most people believe that Larry Birkhead is the father, there is much more to this than what the issue of where to bury Ms Smith should be

I hope that her mother gets to bury her back in Texas, for a lot of reasons.

My mother-in-law mourned for her like I would have a close friend. I don't get it either. How come none of the soldiers that have died in Iraq got that attention? Those are the ones who really deserve the media attention.. Oh wait thats right, dead soldiers don't boost ratings or sell magizines!

I've been asking myself the same question.Every time I turn the TV on and watch the news, all they talk about is Anna Nicole Smith. I dont know why people care so much..It's private.

I thought I was the only one. I wish they would bury her already and not show it on T.V. all day. I am in sympathy with those who loved her. I feel so sorry for that little baby, but enough is enough.

not an opinion, but the the truth......MONEY!...look at how many people are employed. by these organizations...several thousand or more...for ratings, advertisement, get the news 24/7....and a lot of people, thinks this seriously news for Christs sake......
