But if someone is born in Canada and has American parents that might mean he is either American or Canadian (by country of birth)....that's why I am asking. Uptill now I have always thought that he is a very good American actor and comedian. By the way I am neither Canadian nor American.

If Jim Carrey was born and raised in Canada, then he's Canadian. My parents are Asian, being born from there, but I was born in America and I'll probably live here for my whole life. So, even if Jim Carrey's parents are American, he's Canadian, being born from there.

It only depends on where you are born. Both my parents are from Portugal but I was born in Canada so I am Canadian. He was born In T-DOT (Toronto to everyone else outside of Canada). However he received his American citizenship not to long ago so he is now a full fledged American citizen now.

have you ever seen little nicky worst action picture ever!! Adam Sandler isn't even remotely humorous. i don't be attentive to how he keeps getting roles mutually as Jim Carrey has to objective his acceptable to get observed.
