I would like to do something special for both of them (together)... but not the usual birthday dinner. Any suggestions? (under $100)

You could cook. It's better if you make it yourself, so it shows that you don't have to do something fancy for them to show that you care about them. I have like 7 friends' b-days on March. Good luck. I need it too. lol.

Since you have 2 friends whose birthdays fall on the same day, why don't you let them sit down and talk to each other and decide on maybe a fast food restaurant and a movie to go to?

Being that it is their birthdays, if you let them decide, then you will be guaranteed to take the 2 of them somewhere that they will be happy to go.

If there is a mall around you that you all like to go out to, you might want to get a gift certificate, say $30, for each of them and take them to the mall and let them pick out whatever they would like for themselves. To top off the day, you might suggest that the three of you sit down at a favorite eatery that you all like and eat before you go home.

throw a surprise party for both, buy a cake and some appetizers. Invite 10 people or so, keep it small and tell them to bring a gift or something for the party , like a dish of food or something...like a potluck kind of party.....everyone likes surprises!
