OK so I have a grub problem, so I spread Spectracide all over my lawn exactly 24hrs ago, well what do I do next? I have bare spots and some parts of the lawns are getting brown. I was thinking of over seeding, if so when should I do it? Any ideas, suggestions? I don't know what type of grass I have but believe its Bahia

Do you live down south? Bahia is very common in Florida. Once lawn pests invade your lawn and you don't retaliate immediately store bought insecticides won't really help. Grubs, mole crickets, etc will become almost immune to spectracide and other brands. Where your lawn is brown is where they are chewing from underneath. It's too late to over seed if you live down south. Water in your spectracide with at least 1/4 of water. Hope you have an irrigation system. Insecticides always need to be watered in. You can order Talstar on-line, which is a higher content insecticide. Golf courses and lawn service companies use it to control insects. There is also Top Choice which can be ordered on-line, it's about 100-125 dollars a bag though. You are fighting an uphill battle. Your lawn won't recover overnight. You'll probably have to re-sod in heavily damaged areas. Hope this helps. Good luck.
