Football! Crowd noise is a huge factor when offense is trying to communicate audible assingments. The Dolphins picked up on Tom Brady's hand signals and silent count timing to lead to some big defensive plays ! Just to name one instance !

I would have to say basketball. Since it is inside, the noise echo's and is a lot more loud than in other arena's. Also, the fans are right on top of the players.

football, specifically college ball, because of the band and just the entire atmosphere making it difficult to win...basketball is a close second though, especially when the fans are right on top of you like in some arenas
