you don't NEED nero. It's a great program but usually if the computer came with a cd burner it has some software for music and data cd's. You can't get nero for free because it is not free ware.

you can't get nero for free, but if you have a cd burner and have no programs you still can burn it if you have Windows XP, just go to the folder you have the items to burn and select them, then look the list on the left side of that folder, and click on the button -> Copy to a CD. fallow the wizard and you'r done.

Use Windows Media Player to burn a CD, it's free and should already be installed on your computer.
