You have only one mother in a lifetime . She tended to you as a babe in arms . Fed you, wiped your butt and loves you no matter what . Now you want to repay her with a nasty act . That old goat will not fill your bill in no time flat. You won't even remember what he looks like in a little while when he dumps you . So be a decent human being and tell him to get lost . I can just see how he is snickering to convince you so he can get even with your mother . It is sick .

Here's the thing. You're choosing to marry someone that once had a very big place in your family life. You're right, he's not a relative at all but he's someone who has been intimate with your mother mentally, physically, and emotionally...Like your father once was. Just think of all the drama that that decision can make. Why not be with someone else? Or think of it this way, how would you feel if your mother married one of your exs?

Yes, I think it is wrong to marry him and I have to wonder why would you want to have sex with the same man your mother did. Maybe you are mad at your mom for something and think this is a good way to get back at her. Maybe you are the reason he is your moms ex. Just wondering?

yes it's wrong....what makes you think you and he can make a marriage work if he and your mother couldn't? What a slap in the face to your mother too, you should have more respect for your mother even if you don't get along well, that's very disrespectful. Besides you aren't blood related, but he was your stepfather....it's just kind of twisted and sick really.

dont' you think something is wrong with that doesn't matter if he's related to you or not he was related to your mom that should tell you something. Imagine if you did marry him that would ruin your relationship with your mother.. in the end its your choice you have to decide that noone can for you..good luck..

I just dont think this is ethical or just plain right. Although your mom may not be with him any longer, you still should have a certain amount of loyalty and respect to her not to do this. She and he are not together for a reason., so if you do decide to be with him, keep in mind the reason why they broke up.

No, it's not wrong. I hope you're not going to have to choose between him and your mother. If so, you should choose your mother. There are many men out there who would marry you. Good luck.
