This will get me into trouble, but here goes.
I would like to see NOBODY win at the Oscars. To think of all the homeless people and families that go to bed hungry, right in that very city where all those celebs party hardy. What a real waste of talent. And those are my thoughts about that subject.

I'd love to see Ryan Gosling win for 'Half Nelson'; I remember seeing him years ago on some TV show that was a little like Saved By the Bell only it was on a cruise ship, and he was one of those actors I just knew could do so much better. I've always thought he was a fabulous actor, and of course 'The Notebook' is a favorite movie of mine that he did :)

It doesn't really matter to me. But if I have to pick some category: Cars and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest. Maybe seeing Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet winning (Titanic thing). Eddie Murphy. Clint Eastwood.
