legally there are really no limits as it is an EU country, but customs will look very hard at what you are bringing in if it is over 3,500. You are only supposed to bring in cigs for your own use, and over 3500 they find it hard to belive as they would last 6 months at 20 a day. If they stop you, then they can confiscate them and then YOU have to prove they were only for you.

Can't recall exactly, but my sis lives there and she usually brings home around 3400 on a visit

It depends on wether its mainland spain/balerics or canaries. Canaries you are only allowed 200 per person but spain itself i think your are allowed 3600 which is a hellofa lot!!!! Njoy... :-)

I always bring 3,400, I think you can bring in as many as you want but you have to prove that they are for your own consumption.

just back from spain.the spanish customs told me 3,600
