weird question, but does anyone find it harder to do things with short nails? ive had long nails for awhile and it seems easier with them lol

ummm i think it depends on how long ur long nails r!!! but i think longer id harder!!!

I too find things easier with long nails, but not to begin with. I thinks it's just that over a long period of time you get used to doing things without them getting in the way. I have acryllic nails on, i took a set off (ouch) to try to grow them myself, and was fumbling all the time as i wasnt used to the length, so I had them put back on.

I play guitar, so i have to keep my nails at a length that won't stop me from being able to play properly. But yeah, it'd be hard having long nails for me. I always pick stickers and stuff like that so my nails would break after a couple days. (if i had long/acrylic/gel ones..)

well it depends on how long you are talking about. I mean if they are over 1in long than that is just wierd. I mean I like having just a little nail that is clean and well kept. But really long nails just seem creepy and a pain in the neck to keep up.

I prefer short & clean cut nails bec I'm wearing contact lens-it's easier to put them with short nails.

is way harder t do things with long nails but its true sometimes you need your nail to do things like scratch an itch or open caontainer and stuff. so dont keep em too short or too long. well groomed happy medium looks nice and is oh so usefull. hehe

well for cheerleading we have to cut our nails and then i can't open things easier but also when my nails are a little longer before i cut them they also break easier BUT they look better and its easier to open things if they aren't weak.

definitely not easier with long nails. u cant hook necklaces very well and whenever i play the piano with them it makes a wierd noise.

when my nails are short its hard to pick things up such as coins an i can never open anything with ring pulls!

Agree.
Like pulling a can-hook to open a can drink...
Have to use a coin or key w/o my nail...
Like nose digging...
Scratching when itchy...
Etc...
But we have to work and have to present ourselves well...
So have to trim our nails... to be clean and neat...
