Chuck Norris is really big right now for some reason. he starred in a lot of martial arts movies back in the 70s and 80s. he also the starred in Walker Texas ranger. which was an awesome show!
I think that people picture him as the quentisential kick your *** in a heartbeat hero. so thats why people make a big deal about him...thats my theory.
