First impressions. When I see an applicant walk in, their appearance and demeanor sets the stage for the interview. Confidence is good, arrogance is not. Clean hair and nice clothing a plus. If someone does not care about their appearance they are not going to care how well they do their job.

Body language! Carry yourself well, maintain eye-contact, good handshake, good posture. Most information is conveyed non-verbally, be aware of what you are saying without speaking.

I would have to say confidence. If you believe in yourself, then it gives them a reason to believe in you! Be yourself and the rest will "fall into place".
