Is it the duty of a defense lawyer to report proscutorial misconduct?

defense counsel had knowledge of false ua evidence but did not act,or even confront the D.A.

yes, I believe that any attorney has the duty dictated by the ethical cannons, and by ABA standards to report any type of misconduct that he has firm knowledge, and to investigate any reports of such brought to his attention. this is to include judges.
