what are both the advantages and disadvantages?

Question

of mixed sex schools??

I am answering it in a french project but cannot think of any actual reasons in English, let alone French. - I need more advantages really.

the fact that kids get to socialise with people of the other sex, that they develope people skills with not only the same sex, but the opposite. wider education on topics to include both male/female roles in i.e the workplace etc, and also to teach how to act and respect members of the opposite sex.

I guess the big advantage is that people grow up to live in mixed sex societies. Females might as well learn how to relate to males, and males to females. The disadvantage would be that females seem to get intimidated by males and don't feel like they can perform scholastically at their maximum capacity. And guys shy away from any of the practical arts traditionally taught to girls--cooking, shopping, sewing, so they are inept klutzes when they live on their own.
