will you please help me, was the first world war a turning point for women in the uk , did it change their jobs? and did the war get women the vote?

It really took both wars. However it was WW1 which led to many woman being involved in work which, until then was considered to be for men only. This did lead to woman over the age of 30 getting the vote.

A good film to see on this is "Rosie, the riveter"

well i would say when they gained suffrage and that was before we here in the United states passed it.I would say during the industrial revolution because it was at this time when women finally go out of the household to do hard "manly" labor.
