I had this problem. I went to www.java.com and downloaded from that page. I think new computers do not come with the proper viewing programs. Try it.

it may be your pop-up blocker, the same thing happened to me, to turn it off and be able to play yahoo games, all you have to do is go to tools in you toolbar, and then go down to pop-up blocker, and turn it off, (this process may be different on your computer) or you could just allow pop-ups for yahoo.com, by going to tools, pop-up blocker, then the settings of it and add yahoo.com/games to the list of allowed sites for pop-ups

there is a good chance either you dont have java enabled or you have a pop-blocker enabled. First check with java, then pop-up and also the type of browser you use could affect it. good luck
