Hopefully The Solomon Key will be released this year. It was supposed to be released last fall, but there were problems. Even Amazon, which usually does a good job of showing anticipated publication dates, doesn't have the information.

See this article from BBC News for more information about the delay:

As well as this article from The Book Standard:

Also Answers.com has some background on the upcoming novel:

I guess we'll all just have to be patient a little longer. My mom use to say that patience was a virtue...

Amazon doesn't show a release date yet, but they do have a book called The Guide to Dan Brown's Solomon Key by Greg Taylor that may give you more information. I would sign up for the e-mail notifications and buy the guide if you simply can't wait.

According to DanBrown.com, completion isn't even close. It will be a Langdon novel, though.

I'm starting a free service that will send text message alerts regarding new books for certain authors. http://mysterysuspense.livejournal.com has the details. There are about 25 authors on the list - Dan Brown is one of them.

If you are interested, there is a little signup widget. It will send you a registration message, you reply to that message with "1", and you will start getting the messages.

This is a free service. Your cell provider will probably charge you when you reply to the registration message (typically a few cents). The rest of the text messages will be incoming, so hopefully you won't be charged for them (many providers allow free incoming messages).

Anyway, I'm getting into too much detail. Just go to http://mysterysuspense.livejournal.com to check it out.
