I was just reading an article about good chapstick in "US weekly" and they had tested many chapsticks. Sorry, I could not remember all the brands, but the "Chapstick original" was rated third (the one I used) it gives soft lips and avoids chapped lips. The chapsticks rated number 1 and 2 were very expensive ($20-$30, outrageous price for a CHAPSTICK), so I'd say the Original Chapstick is the best bet. Good Quality, Affordable....

The original "ChapStick" brand is the best. I hate cherry and the original flavor, but I LUV the lip moisterizer(blue wrapper). Strawberry and mint are "ok".
I love the Burt's Bees brand, but the Bath&Body Works doesn't carry them any more.

my favorite is chapstick lip moisturizer, but if my lips are very chapped and bleeding (happens a lot to me in the dead of winter) i usually use a medicated 'chapstick' type thing called lip session. they sell it at my pharmacy and i've never seen it anywhere else so i wouldn't be surprised if you had no idea what i was talking about. i liked vaseline lip therapy a lot too, basically its just vaseline in a squeeze tube but it was easy for me to take everywhere, something i can't exactly do with a big ol' thing of vaseline.

I always use Carmex, brand Chapstick or Blistex. They have good flavors, yummy. jk It doesn't hurt when you put them on, like it doesn't burn if your lips are really chapped. I don't like Soft lips cause it doesn't really help with chapped lips and i heard Burts Bees has carcinogens in it, lol. So I choose Carmex, Chapstick, or Blistex.

I am a Burt's Bees addict, but Burt's seems to dry out quicker than Chapstick. If you have superdry lips, then I would use a little vaseline or baby oil, just don't overdo.

If you have chapped lips then, lip gloss works better. But the best kind of chapstick is the clear or white moisturizer kind it helps bring the moistness back into the lips.

I would say for the original Chapstick, it's gotta be Cherry.
But Burts Beeswax and Carmex due reign supreme as far as other brands.

If you're lips are super-chapped and you want them to...well, not be, I suggest Blistex. But the colored Burt's Bees or the regular kind is nice because they're minty and look nice.
