Because if you take the blood under a microscope you can see the differences, plus other things other than humans bleed red. Why is it still used?

We all do bleed red, but then so do dogs and cats, so I can't see it as proof of anything. There may indeed be racial differences -- I do not know -- but the colour of blood is not one of them.

Because the concept is that even though on the outside we may seem different, on the inside we're really all the same. It's a good concept.

I would take it to mean that people are all fundamentally the same. If you look for differences, I'm sure you'll find them, but the notion of unity at this particular time, seems welcome
