Would we be able to sod in the Fall -- late August early September or should we wait until the spring?

Sept. and Oct are better months to sod than July and Aug. as the heat sucks the mositure out of the sod with its freshly cut root system. As for the Spring, it is good as well, however the sod will not look as green until late May.

Both would be fine. Just don't do it during the summer.. Too hot. I did my front yard in the fall and my back yard in the spring.. Good luck..

I don't know what zone you are in but I think Spring is best so it has the warm weather on it's side.
