or the Jasper Carrot way:-
Sit in your garden in the middle of the night
on a rotating stool, firing a shotgun!

On your face - see a doctor or wear a paper bag over your head.

Very very difficult. Pray he goes away I'm afraid. All the usual windmill type deterrents just don't work. If you have enough patience, you can wait for him to pop his head out while he's throwing up the earth from his tunnel, and then hit him on the head with a spade. This requires a strong enough stomach to be able to kill, and loads of patience! Good luck-you're going to need it!

You can buy a sonic device that you bury in the garden.Or you could serve him with a restraining order.If that doesn`t work then hire the green keeper from the film Caddyshck,he can get rid of the blighter.

my dad has just got rid of his mole after a year of trying different things and the last remedy was human pee poured down holes in his garden.... i know it doesn't sound very good but it worked....
even the sonic device never worked sorry......
