I would be happier with mutual understanding .
Unfortunately if one hasn't got children or grandchildren there is little contact between the generations, and instead of understanding there is conflict.
The young should realise that although advancing years may make one appear elderly, inside most of us is a young person with a just bit more experience and perhaps wisdom.
I would be quite happy to listen and learn from young people who are a lot brighter than we were at their age.Then they might gain from our mistakes.

it would seem its very hard for an elderly person to extend blessing to a lot of young people even though the majority behave in a respectable way but others their way of life is foreign to people who have gone through their lives in a way that is expected from a civilised society
