I have an NTL cable Modem supplying internet to my computer, but i want to know if i can get internet to my PS2 with no extra charge.
It has 1 USB and 1 Ethernet output on it, so can i use them both at the same time?

The cable modem will hand out only one IP address at a time to whatever device is connected. That would be EITHER the PC or the PS2, but not both.

To connect both devices you would need either a router or a hardware firewall. My personal recommendation would be that you get a hardware firewall like a sonicwall. It handles DHCP internal do the device. You connect your cable modem to the sonic wall and the sonicwall will distribute the IP addresses - as many as you need - to all your connected devices thus enabling them to all be connected at the same time.

each and each workstation could could have a IP# or it may basically be one workstation that are networked as one. in the journey that your ISP says you have 5 IP# consisting of your account, specific that's possible and in line with danger do-in a position, yet a Hub is like $8 and a Router is like $50 , a Router provides you with a sophisticated secure practices doohicky and provides multi DHCP configurations to run.

No, I have the same problem with my 360, and this is how I fixed it. http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1122062340941&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper

It has 4 ethernet ports, so you could have your ps2 and 3 computers connected at once
