At our wedding recption he spent time with me only after most of his family left."Sorry, people kept wanting me to come talk to them. I have time now." They left after they had taken down most of the decorations, table cloths, centerpieces etc. My mom asked his neices to stop, they just gave her funny looks. I did my best to look happy. later my new husband said, "Yeah, well you didn't do enough. Your lucky my family helped." This was his attitude for 10 years. They also helped with the pictures because we didn't have a lot of money. His sister took them to Wal-Mart of all places, where they negatives were cut in half so there are no pictures. "We the important thing is the that all the family got together and helped". Not one apology.
Fast forward, he just got concert tickets for the Police. He was all depressed that he didn't get tickets for his ablebodied,40+ brother. He blames me because after 10yrs, I don't want to see his family. He has not once stood up for me.

Read the book the Proper Care of Feeding of Husbands by Dr. Laura. See if the suggestions in the book will help you to be better to him which in turn will make him treat you better. Women have the power we just need to learn how to use it properly.

If it bothers you that much, tell him. If he doesn't change after you telling him, leave him.
