I don't understand this argument...not letting moms feed their babies while they are outside of the home. Its not like they are bearing their breasts for the whole shopping mall to see...they are very discreat.

My wife breast feed in public, and some complained.

Funny thing, though, not too many men. I haven't been able to figure that out. Do you think it was because she sometimes forgot she was in public and popped one out?

Just kidding. She was very discrete. She usually took my sons to a less visible location.

I never could figure out why many think there is something wrong with it. It's a perfectly natural act. When I see a woman breast feeding her baby, I feel very warm inside. I attach no sexual connotation to it. None whatsoever.

To me, to think otherwise is an affront not only to the mother, but to God. He created a woman's breasts specifically for that purpose. I feel one is insulting God's wisdom if one objects.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it, as long as your boob isn't hanging out for the world to see. I've seen many women have a blanket over them or are shielded by a family member or friend. I hate people that say go to the bathroom and do it... would you like to eat in a bathroom? Or feed someone in the bathroom? All the germs and nasty people

I agree with you. They should just be discreet like everyone else is saying. Aside from that, one thing that maybe good for when shopping, is to use a breast pump before leaving and putting the milk into a bottle. I am very shy, that is what I would do.

Absolutely nothing . That is what they are for . Our society that has vilified sex for ages and in turn has rendered body parts into sex objects for the sole purpose of male gratification. Making a natural and necessary act such as feeding ones baby offensive just isn't right and makes no sense

Only some moms cover up. I used to work at Six Flags and this women with a VERY small *probably new born maybe a couple of weeks old* and she just pulled down her spegetti strap and held the baby up to her.
If peeing in public is considered indecent exposure in public & you can be arrested for it then wipping out your boob in public should is indecent exposure too. Yes, both need to be done but can and should be done in a private place.

BUT, the real problem is, it excites men to see it, and women know it. We had a discussion about this once and everyone spoke honestly about it. THAT'S why the moral folks want to keep it out of sight. The problem with that is, men get excited about almost everything and you can't hide the world.

Absolutely NOTHING. People just need to get over it and let the mother nurse. I don't have kids...but I have no problems with it. It's either that...or a shrieking hungry baby!!

I'm a mom and I would not nurse my baby in public, there's just something disturbing about it to me.
