Love is hard to predict. The world is full of possibilities, so anything is possible. If the reason was beyond your control then it is perfectly likely that you may feel something for this guy again, especially if it's after a long time when things have cleared up. But you have to ask yourself carefully.

Yes, but that doesn't mean you should go back to them. Be friends and hang out some, but be careful about trying again. If it didn't work the first time, it most likely won't ever work. It takes more than just love to be with someone, some people just don't work together, no matter how much they both may want it. Always remain friends though, they will know you better than most and are good, caring, friends to have.

I dumped a guy in middle school because i was young and dumb I listened to everyone else make fun of us because neither of us were attractive enough for the cliches. I learned in high school that those other people don't matter and we dated again he had changed too much for us to last but we are still very good friends 15 years later.
