Lost is brilliant and awesome. It's a storyline that you have to watch from episode one to current just to keep up. The great thing about Lost is all the synchronicities... how all the characters have crossed paths one way or another... whether it's sitting next to each other in an airport, having a drink at a bar, almost getting hit by a car or something on TV.
The flashbacks are great... you get to see how each character became the person they are now and the events that lead them up to getting on flight 815.
It's like one incredibly long movie... what I like is rewatching them and picking out things I didn't notice before. I like looking for the numbers, looking for one character in another's flashback... that kind of thing.
To pardon my pun, but Lost is easy to get lost in... if you don't pay attention or miss an episode, it's easy be like WTF and start to lose interest, so you have to stay on guard with every episode and not miss out.
Anyone who hates the show has obviously never watched them back to back starting at the very beginning. My girlfriend until 3 weeks ago had never seen it and joked about it being like Giligans Island... I broke out the Season 1 DVD and she was hooked after the first 20 mins. We are in the process of watching Season 2 DVDs and I won't let her watch 3 until 2 is over :)

I like LOST because it makes me think. I am really tired of mindless and predictable TV. With LOST you actually have to follow the dialog and you can NEVER predict the outcome. I think the Sun and Jin storyline illustrates that even the most flawed relationship can survive under the right circumstances. Sometimes it takes a tragedy or period of extreme stress to solidify and strengthen a marriage. I think their relationship shows that many marriages fail because the people involved do not know enough about each other before marrying. It is only when you can accept your partner's flaws ( as Sun did) and your partner is willing to change ( as did Jin) that the relationship can grow.

I don't think it's very good because it just drags on and on. It's quite predictable and pathetic but I still want to know what happens at the end. It's all so farfetched and even the characters are unbelievable. I still quite like Sun and Jin though, but where did Jin's English come from? It's alright though.

Lost has its advantages and disadvantages.
Although it seems that the writers want to make it last forever by adding new bits on, it has some fantastic twists and turns that keep people hooked. Although it isn't really accessible for people who haven't watched it from the start, im sure if anyone saw the first episode they'd be hooked!
Recently however, i think there has been too many flashbacks and the sub stories are becoming increasingly involved and complicated.
As for Sun and Jinn, is Jinn part of the Japanese Mafia of something?

i was addicted to this series for a time, puzzled by its mysteries, and often surprised by its revelations. then i realized that the writers were simply making events up as they went along, and they had no explanation nor intended to explain some of those mysterious events. i began to feel used, like a tool, fooled by those writers who simply had money in their hearts and not any particular story to tell. i believe others will soon realize this also. it became like a childs practical joke, and i think it will leave people feeling foolish. i no longer watch. btw, Sun is just a fabulous actress and i hope she finds more work in the USA market.
