back foot on tail. front foot in middle of deck. slowly crouch down (tense, like a spring) uncoil the springby pushing yourself off the board as hard as you can. keep practicing that then slowly adjust your timing until your back foot comes off a little more quickly and a little firmer than your front. Once you do it one time, you will get a feel for it. start on carpet and work your way up to pavement and eventually, moving.
