For one thing they can VOTE!! Second, they can get educated so they can know what is going on instead of listening to the talking heads. Third, call your reps on the carpet for what they do and hold them accountable. An informed, educated voter is more dangerous to Washington than any army. At least while we still have the right to vote.

first and foremost, stop being a nation of victims and take responsibility for our actions. unlike alot of other nations, americans have control over their fates. bad things happen in life. how you deal with it determines on how well you will do. you don't need to sue, have therapy, hold protests or whatever just because you don't like something or something does not go your way. don't think everybody owes you a living or happiness-make those things happen for you. secondly, treat your rights as if they can be taken away tomorrow. americans are becoming too complacent-you are letting people tell you what to eat, what political point of view is acceptable (and no, it's not coming from the right if the left is trying to make a law that if you don't teach al gore's version of global warming that you can lose your teaching certifications), what symbols you can use in your home and yard, who is going to own your property, and on and on. and respect yourselves, each other and your surroundings. a place is a hellhole only if the people let it be a hellhole. stop voting for elected officials simply because they comb their hair a certain way or belong to a certain party. look at their viewpoints and demand morals and ethics. demand people coming into this country be citizens in order to be entitled to the rights of americans. don't let your political leaders hand off our nation to people who have nothing invested in it.

Start paying attention to whats going on around them.Getting involved.Stop being afraid to make waves...What happened to all the protesters of the 60's & 70's?We have become complacent--We need to get out from in front of the T.V. and get involved:It has to start somewhere, quit waiting for your neighbor to do it---do it yourself!Doesn't anyone see what is happening in America? Were letting the political parties choose our lives for us,we sit back and do nothing.. Dont say you haven't been warned !!!
