Always wanted to be a veterinary nurse, but had the most dreadful allergy to furry animals! It was at a time when few treatments were available and any antihistamines made you sleep for ever and a day. No, I never did train to be one!

I wanted to be a member of the military aerobatic team. I eventually did get on the team, I just wished I'd done it when I was a lot younger. Problem is that now I've retired, there is no job in the world that comes anywhere near as exciting as that one.

I think I went through too many dream jobs in my youth, Vet, Archaeologist, Ballerina, Showjumper, Oscar winning actress, Make-up Artist, Set Designer etc. As a result, at 31 years old I still have no idea what I want to be when I grow up!!

When I was younger, I never imagined doing what I am doing now. I wanted to be a computer programmer but i ended up being a lab analyst and now I am a wastewater treatment plant operator. I regret that I didn't get more college.

my dream job in High School was to be a curator in a museum as I love history, but I never completed university, never got the history degree, and so cannot do that job now. It was over 20 years ago.
Now I want to be a paralegal - much shorter training course, and a better chance.

i wanted to be a footballer so no not really, after that i always wanted to drive a truck across america, or to own a pub and libve upstairs...i liked the idea of walking down the stairs and be in work! Then i wanted to be a graphic designer, after my post grad i wont be one but ill be something similar, so yeah i think im on course!

I wanted to be a racing driver.I did not achieve this to a good enough standard and now i work for a successful racing team in the uk as a mechanic.Not as good as being a driver but i do get to travel and get to contribute to the success of my team!
