Hi all =)
Today at college my whole outfit (bought it only yesterday!!) got stained all over by my stupid ink pen.
Thing is, it's DRY ink. You know, that normal roller dry pen everyone uses. I sent it to the dry-cleaners but none had any idea what to do, and they said if they got near it, the stain will spread.
Can any angelic house-wife or some well-educated gentle man tell me what to do?? =P jk, but seriously, anyone?!
Oh, and does the timing differ? Will that be bad if it stays a bit longer till it dries a bit more? It's been quite a while.

P.S: The stains are heavy, the pen has lost alot of ink (:ss)

Thank you for your time ^___^

Good idea, JC, thanks I'll try that. And I've thought of Oxi-Cleaners, Karen, but I was too afraid to touch the outfit with it.

You can try hairspray. Saturate the stain real well, then rub with a bar of soap. Rinse in COLD water. Keep repeating until ink is gone. Sometimes rubbing alcohol dabbed on ink will help. If the outfit is white, you might use dishwasher detergent. Don't try this if the outfit is colored, it takes the color out. Don't use any warm or hot water because you will set the stain.

sounds like a big problem to me, if you get the ink out you'll most probably ruin your dress, but if you want to have a go try this. Put some washing powder into a bowl, then add some water and mix into the powder, just enough so that it is a thick paste, then apply to the affected area, leave for about an hour, then remove the now hopefully drier paste, remove it with a knife so as not to damage the dress,if it it starts to take the stain out follow previous instructions, good luck

Well, I've never tried it on clothes yet, but I got an ink stain out of our carpet with Oxi Clean. Worth a try!
