after hearing from you and know that you are in southern california
I used a great moving company (8 years ago) but they are
still in business)even though this was local move they do cross county moves as well (mar vista)
what I liked about them is that they picked up my stuff at one location
transportation to my new apartment, then went to pick up
a sofa a friend gave me (in Beverly hills and came back to
deliver the sofa to me) and they didn't charge me extra for the
extra stop nor for carrying the sofa down stairs at the Beverly Hills apt)
and I think it came to about 280 dollars
(remember this was over 8 years ago)
