i love genesis until gabriel left,have no interest in them since that time..peter gabriel was the genius of genesis then they went seriously commercial..i have all gabriel cds and dvds and the guy puts on some show..true genius

Genesis wouldn't be Genesis, without Phil Collins, I think he's a great singer, far better than Peter Gabriel, I can't stand him and lets face it, Phil Collins is an artist in his own right, Genesis need him, more than he needs them. !! xx

I prefer Phil Collins as lead singer of Genesis.

Phil Collins was definitely the better singer with Genesis. He was also with them a lot longer. Phil was definitely the best and he must have a room full of gold discs.

I liked Gabriel better after he left genesis. I thought Phil was better on his own also.
But GenesisReally suffered after Gabriel was gone :-)

I personnaly prefer Gabriel by far but I admit colins is a great singer and did amazing songs with Genesis, however his extremely commercial oriented music annoys me. The Gabriel solo carreer is infinite times better than phill's.

I love the early non-commerical Genesis with Peter Gabriel as lead. hmmm...that makes me old doesn't it. doggone it! LOL ♥
