First, the pope does not wear much "gold" at all. Most of what he wears are simple white robes and a wooden cross.
At any rate, He owns NOTHING of which he wears. All that he uses is property of the church and remains in church hands upon his death.

I've never seen the Pope to wear any gold good.Apart from his white suit and his cross he doesn't wear anything else.And you should have seen the previous pope's funeral.He had the most simple coffin.
