First question back is how long has it been since it was serviced?? (The septic tank)
Septic tanks need to be serviced every 3-5 years depending on how many people live in the household.
A 2 person household can go about 5 years.
Other than that a septic tank need to be serviced every 3 years.
If the tank is 8 years old and never serviced, that's your problem right there.
There is another question too, if it has been getting serviced, has it been getting pumped out through the tank lid? or a "pump-out" riser?? When they clean your tank, you want to make sure that they pump out your tank through the tank lid, where that can get full access to your entire tank for cleaning. If they pump through the riser, your not getting a 100% job.
The next possible problem is, are you using a septic tank suitable toliet paper??
Septic systems work in layers, so my husband's first intial guess is that you need service. Normally, when it blocks at the entry it is usually a sign of needed service.
When he pumps those tanks that the household is having those sort of problems, the blockage problems go away.
It costs less to have your tank serviced on a regular basis, than to have your tank and leach field replaced.
Hope that gives you some ideas.
Good Luck!
**EDIT**
Use of enzymes in your tank does help & break down of solids, but does not replace servicing of septic tanks on a regular schedule. Enzymes are just a little extra insurance that problems don't occur between servicing of septic tanks.

style of relies upon on only the place in Mt. Clemens you reside, interior the country, a marginally rural placing, or interior the city limits. properties interior the city limits of a municipality many times don't have septic structures, they are maximum all hooked as much as a shopper-friendly drain that then runs right into a treatment center. in case you're interior the city limits, that is maximum in all risk a root subject, the place a tree root has grown right into a small crack interior the sewer line going out to the line and has led to a plug. they are insidious little issues and returned interior the Nineteen Twenties, the pipes they used had to be packed with okum and then soldered at each joint, residing a lot of risk for roots to get a foot carry. If this seems to be the topic, you would be wanting a Rooto Rooter provider, probable one with a digital camera snake to first be certain the topic concerns and then use a cutter snake to cut the roots out. this could be a short-term restoration, even nonetheless, many times, via fact the roots can improve returned if the bushes are nevertheless there. The everlasting answer is to dig up the line and replace it with a extra moderen extra present day fabric. in case you do have a septic, then it must be lots a similar subject basically with the prospect that the tank is finished as properly. the only thank you to tell for advantageous is to have somebody interior the excavation employer or septic cleansing employer come out and verify it out. they are able to have the means to make certain which it rather is.

I Use and always have used Charmin Toilet Paper At Home I only use "Special Paper "in my motor home. You should NOT have to have the septic pumped more than once in 5 yrs.
Sounds like the angle of the pipe at the entry is wrong. if the angle of the pipe is too sharp the liquids will flow to fast and leave the solids stuck to the sides. That will cause the solids to collect in one spot and clog it up you might have a plumber check out the angle if you cant do that then you will need to snake it on a regular bases. It will also help if you allow more water by flushing more than once when flushing solids. I put three packages of baking yeast in my toilet and flush it down with three flushes every month or two and I have only had to have my septic pumped once since 1985. I had it pumped just to make sure I didn't have too much slug in it from laundry soap. I NEVER flush cooking grease such as bacon or frying grease down into septic that kills and clogs up the system. Put grease from bacon or meat in a emptied veggie, soup or other can let it harden and put in trash not down the drain. If you have a garbage disposal and put things like veggies and left overs down into the septic then you need to use more yeast or Rid-X to say instead of every month or two then every two to three weeks. I use my grease free left overs etc for a compost so I don't put anything like that in my septic. Not that you can't You can, but you have to provide a way for it to be broken down with more bacteria.

when I worked up in the highlands most of the locals had septic tanks, and a trick they used was to through recently killed game birds in to the tank 3 or 4 times a year.
the bacteria in the birds also helped deal with the tanks contents.
hope this helps.
also check that the base has not moved and the pipes and going in at the correct angle.

I remember living on a farm just outside a small town, I was told not to throw any tampons or big stuff down there cause it clogs up the spectic tank, sometimes too much TP can clog it too.

It needs to be emptied and cleaned out.
As one of the other answers, do not put Tampax's or condoms down in to the tank as these can cause blockages more quicker than you expect.
