If you have a garbage disposal and put things like veggies and left overs down into the septic then you need to use more yeast or Rid-X to say instead of every month or two then every two to three weeks. I use my grease free left overs etc for a compost so I don't put anything like that in my septic. Not that you can't You can, but you have to provide a way for it to be broken down with more bacteria.
