I had a very vivid dream that I was on a bus lying in the lap of the man I love (but he doesn't know it) whilst being raped by a hansdom well mannered stranger. The man I love runs after him to confront him and comes back to say to me that he isn't all that bad a guy. It was SO vivid, I feel it means something...?

Perhaps it means you should tell him how you feel before you end up in a relationship with someone you don't love (represented by the rapist). The rapist was handsome and well mannered because he represents a good man who you could have a relationship with, but his rape signifies you are not willing to have a true relationship with anyone but the man you love.
The man you love then tells you that the other guy is not bad because he does not know what your true feelings are.
The bus may represent the journey of life or the passage of time, or just a bus. You laying on the guy's lap signifies comfort and safety.

Theres no one on the bus except the driver...yourself....the man you love...a third party. You are in your lovers lap but he pretends that he's not there. Up comes the third party and takes advantage then walks away. Your so called lover goes up to him and says "What do you think of my girlfriend..is'nt she sexy". The two men are friends. Your dream could mean something in real life such as a wedding. Bride...Groom...Best man. The best man will see more of you than your husband.

well the apparency is that the man you like is not going to protect you very well. But heck, who cares what dreams say. It could have been a late-nigiht cheese sandwich that has set your digestion topsy-turvy and, consequently, made your brain fizzle and spit out weird dreams.
Don't take any notice of it.

I means that you love the guy but you have needs he's not satisfying. Why not set something up to do it with him? He might realise you have strong feelings for him if you do. No guarantee, but it just might work.
