Why are none of these people serving in Iraq? If it is such a Holy Cause, shouldn't at least one of the extended family be willing to put their life on the line? If it is good enough for our sons and daughters, why isn't it worthwhile for one of them?

Am I alone in this feeling?

Or, are they all just COWARDS?

So, just what are you expecting Bush to do? Force members of his family to join the military in order to bolster his approval with the public? Since when is it the responsibility of family members to make career decisions just because it would make their dad, uncle, etc., look good?

Cowardice has nothing to do with it. We have a volunteer force...which means those there CHOSE that lifestyle. As a retired military officer, I can tell you, I would not want ANYONE watching my back in a war zone that didn't WANT to be there. You have no idea what you are talking about, my friend.

It may be mere chance that no member of Bush family has selected Army service as a carrier. This depend upon personal circumstances of the individual. This does not mean that they are coward or they avoid military service. President Bush as well as his family members are as patriotic as any other American.

So, by your logic, anyone eligible for military service that isn't in Iraq is a coward? Thanks, jackass.
